JASPER–Attorney Sid Stover, a partner in the Jasper law firm of Seale, Stover & Bisbey, was honored with induction into the American Board of Trial Advocates at a ceremony in Houston on November 7.
The American Board of Trial Advocates, or ABOTA, is an invitation-only organization composed of the top trial attorneys in the country. ABOTA’s members are dedicated to preserving the constitutional vision of equal justice for all Americans and the preservation of our civil justice system, and in particular the right to trial by jury, for future generations. New members must be nominated and approved by majority vote of the existing membership, and must have extensive civil jury trial experience as well as exhibit the virtues of civility, integrity and professionalism. Stover has practiced law in Jasper and the surrounding counties for 45 years, and is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in the field of Personal Injury Trial law.
