SSA & Uvalde Soaring The Olympics of Gliding! Held only every 2 years, this will be the 2nd time to be held in Uvalde Texas and only the 4th time to be in the USA!! Pre-competition Party, bbq & dance, opening event Olympic Style Parade, Opening Ceremonies, Taste of Texas Festival, arts & crafts, food, beverages, souvenirs, glider rides, helicopter rides, competition flying, nightly hangar parties, mid event party on the Frio River, closing ceremonies. There will be 120 pilots from 40 different countries competing.
